    Excellent coaching. So many other UA-cam videos emphasize the need to rotate rather than learning to be still, that way you can release your hips and torso slowly and with control, in order to extend further forwards

    I'm writing from Greece, I'm also a coach, you're doing a great job, I've been watching your channel since you started and it's constantly evolving, thanks for all the information you give us, I noticed you changed rackets from Pro staff (which I love) to cx200 would like me to ask which model exactly it is (18/20 95' head) ? and your impressions and if you can tell the differences from your previous racquet, also if you can share what strings type you use(brand name) and at what string tension on both the previous racquet and the new one? thanks and keep going to the top!

    Not much knee bending here. Tall players can get away with it as they can flatten the ball too from hitting at higher levels

  • @pjcdm
    @pjcdm 3 дні тому

    I agree about bending the knees, but if you are 6ft & over, yes, you can flatten the ball more, but most people are 5ft10 less & they must brush up to get the ball over the net because the ball cannot be hit easily at a higher height (shoulder height). Moreover, taller players have a few tens of seconds more to hit the ball. The net is less of an issue for taller players as they can hit the ball at a higher height than other smaller players, comfortably & easily. Women are usually even smaller. But i agree about bending.

    I don’t understand why so many people complain about the way he teaches the kids, saying that it’s too much. They’re not 3-year-olds, and they are totally able to focus for 7 minutes. Could we just all be grateful for this high-quality content full of valuable tips? He’s teaching pro stuff and sharing it with the world for free! Thank you for that and for sharing your tennis knowledge with passion. 🙏🏼💫

    • @blaskbla
      @blaskbla 2 дні тому

      Be serious... Look at kids faces :) They don't understand more than half. When you are that age, you are learning by doing not by listening to someone with dark glasses. The whole video is valuable for us by watching UA-cam lessons. For kids, it was just waste of time.

    How kool would it be to be on the court and Vincent walks up ! Oh yeah ! UA-cam Tennis Royalty. I say that because if you have watched enough of Vincent's tutorials you *know* he knows how to hit the ball. He plays well and his method of teaching is something that I understand. Yeah it's too bad these people on the court didn't know you, or they would have really appreciated what a great surprised they had with you training them ! The only thing I can suggest if you do this again, is to have a little business card with you to hand to those you have helped, and because they are local to you, you could pick up some more potential clients, and u never know who you will meet on those courts. It's a good way to go. I'd have a really fun card that looks super inviting so people are more likely to send you an email or give you a call. You got balls doing that, because you never know how people will react. Great video !

  • @senorgato70
    @senorgato70 4 дні тому

    The notion of “getting set early” is to ensure you have ample time to take the swing with the ball still in the proper striking zone. So any way you paint it, you need to prepare “early” in order to hit a proper shot. Not sure what the open stance has to do with the preparation, but open stance is effective especially when someone is at the net. Hitting every shot with an open stance takes away hip rotation and depth and penetration of shot.

      @@tennisdoctoratp Thanks for taking time out of your day Vincent ! ... oh and your new "LIVE Ball" section is great ! There are so many tennis channels on UA-cam that will go on about a technique for 10 minutes and then end the video. As amateurs, it's a must to actually see whatever the teacher is trying to explain in a brief real demonstration so that we actually get it and it "clicks" Thank you for that. You are great. I realize it's a business for you, and I hope your paid courses do well, but for UA-cam tutorials are second to none, and it's great to see you are willing to break down those shots for us. The slo-mo at the beginning of this video too for example really puts a focus on how fast you go for a really relaxed motion to a fast motion like when a cheetah explodes into action. I never really got that until I saw that part of the video in your intro. Thank you Vincent !
